Which heat pump-heated houses in Poland are subsidized for electricity bills 2022?

The energy subsidy is government support designed to help tackle the energy crisis and ensure the financial security of Poles during this year’s heat pump-heated houses in Poland.

But it won’t award farms that are backed by an energy subsidy to another source of heating. People who refuse environmental interviews also cannot count on subsidies. Also, people with photovoltaic installations are not entitled to energy allowances.

1.How does a zealux INVERBOOST heat pump work?

How a zealux INVERBOOST heat pump works can be explained by how a refrigerator works. It’s an inverse process. A refrigerator takes heat from the inside and transfers it to the outside, while a zealux INVERBOOST heat pump takes heat from the outside and transfers it to the inside.

Therefore, zealux INVERBOOST heat pumps utilize the physics of the Joule-Thomson effect. A pump exchanger is required for this process. The structure of the zealux INVERBOOST heat pump consists of two units, the outer and the inner, which are connected with the working medium by pipes.

Its operation is regulated by a mechanism consisting of three elements:

Heat source system – it is responsible for energy consumption, zealux INVERBOOST heat pump – the process of recovering heat from the environment, heat Distribution and Storage System – Its purpose is to distribute heat around the house and keep it in the home.

Zealux INVERBOOST heat pumps operate on the principle of thermodynamics. It uses extra energy throughout the process. In practice, this means that we use free energy from land, water and air, and we only pay for its transportation in the form of electricity.

The pump can be used in modern buildings without chimneys, specific types of ventilation or air supply. What’s more, when deciding to install a zealux INVERBOOST heat pump, you don’t have to give up your current heating because it can work with other heat sources.

2. Why do heat pumps consume a lot of electricity?

Heat pumps require electricity to operate. It is provided by a heat pump compressor. Therefore, when deciding on it, we must realize that the heating cost depends on the electricity price. Under good operating conditions, up to 6 kWh of heat can be generated using 1 kWh. This means that when heating a house with an area of 150 square meters, we will use approximately 1,875 kWh throughout the year.

Factors such as:

installation error

Incorrect pump size selection in relation to the size of the heated area

Miscalculation of demand

Building insulation

Domestic hot water demand is high

Heating System Type – Heat Pumps are Best for Low Temperature Heating Systems

Number of family members and their lifestyle

the location of the building

House heating water temperature is high

Desired air temperature in the room

the location of the building

3. Are there additives for heat pump heating?

As part of what is known as the end of September, the House of Commons passed a bill on special solutions to protect electricity consumers, including a draft new energy supplement to complement the Solidarity Shield.

The energy subsidy is government support designed to help tackle the energy crisis and ensure the financial security of Poles during this year’s heating season.

This heating subsidy is awarded to every household that declares the use of an electric heat source in the CEEB statement. You can apply at the municipal office where I live or apply electronically through the ePUAP platform. The application period is from December 1, 2022 to February 1, 2023. Electricity subsidy will be up-to-date by March 31, 2023.

4.What is the amount of energy supplement?

The energy subsidy amount is PLN 1,000 if the annual electricity consumption does not exceed 5,000 kWh. If in 2021 we use more than 5,000 kWh, we will receive an energy supplement of PLN 500, which is a surcharge of PLN 1,500.

5.Who won’t get energy supplements?

If it’s a heat pump electricity surcharge, it’s definitely the main source of heat, so not everyone will get the subsidy. It will not award farms that are supported by an energy subsidy to another source of heating. People who refuse environmental interviews also cannot count on subsidies.

Among other things, energy allowances are not entitled to persons with photovoltaic installations.
